About Wi-Fi site surveys

Upload a floor plan, set its scale from a known distance and place your measurement points and access points. Enter or import the readings from your survey instrument, compare a later visit at the same points, and print a survey report that shows only what was actually measured.

Projects, photos and attachments are saved in this browser on this device. They are not uploaded to NovaSoft. Download an editable backup to keep a copy elsewhere or move to another computer.

Frequently asked questions

Does it scan Wi-Fi from the browser?

No. Browsers can’t measure Wi-Fi. Enter readings from your survey app or instrument, or import them as CSV.

Does it show a coverage heat map?

No. The report marks real readings and unmeasured areas rather than guessing coverage between points.

Can I compare before and after?

Yes. Points that stayed in the same place on the same plan, network and band are compared, with differences shown in dB.
